Pottery Workshops for Seniors

Having a play with some clay is on many people’s ‘bucket list’ but they may not have had the opportunity to actually try pottery. Firing Time offers pottery workshops for seniors in their home environment which removes any concern about transportation or accessibility.

The Benefits

Research has shown there are many benefits to using pottery as a therapeutic tool for many conditions. These are just some of the benefits:

How can I book a pottery session?

The one-hour session includes a demonstration, tools, clay and help is on hand for the residents. It also includes firing of the masterpieces! A minimum of 10 participants are needed. 

Mileage charges.

  • 10-20km a charge of $15
  • 20-30km a charge of $30
  • 30-40km a charge of $35

All payments to be made on the day of workshop.
