Pottery Workshops for Seniors
Having a play with some clay is on many people’s ‘bucket list’ but they may not have had the opportunity to actually try pottery. Firing Time offers pottery workshops for seniors in their home environment which removes any concern about transportation or accessibility.

Research has shown there are many benefits to using pottery as a therapeutic tool for many conditions. These are just some of the benefits:

How can I book a pottery session?
The one-hour session includes a demonstration, tools, clay and help is on hand for the residents. It also includes firing of the masterpieces! A minimum of 10 participants are needed. There is a pottery class booking fee of $30 for the session (plus HST) to secure the booking.
You can decide whether to pay for this or the participants themselves.
Each participant will cost $8. Minimum charge $110 per workshop plus HST
For areas outside Cobourg, a small charge will be made for petrol and time. Up to 10km from Firing Time is included.
- 10-20km a charge of $10
- 20-30km a charge of $25
- 30-40km a charge of $40
All payments to be made on the day of workshop.
